In all honesty, it was a refreshing feeling to be holding it in her hands, like she used to before everything was just transferred in the gigabytes. Running a hand through her long, bright red hair, she pushed it over to one shoulder, trying to get some stray hairs out of her face in the process. Holding a 'Decapitated' CD in her hand, she turned it over to look at the back, her eyes locked on the text on the back as she thought about how the album might sound. She had some of their albums on her ipod, but she felt as though she should start buying albums every once in a while, just to support some of her favourite artists. Inititally, Charlie had gone to the local record shop to pick up the new 'Evanescence' album, just simply because the other two and wanted to add to her little collection. It wasn't as if she went there often, but now that she was there, she regretted not going there more often. The atmosphere was so comforting and relaxing, she couldn't explain as to why, but it just was. She felt at home in there. Putting the CD back on the rack, she eyed a couple more the albums before she picked up another and analysed it, trying to see if she could recognize any of the songs on the back. As she looked through the albums, she started to get lost in her thoughts and the music that was playing through the speaker in the shop. It was something to tended to do often, especially if she was on the bus or just walking to work with her earphones in. Her boss told her that she would get this glazed look over her eyes, as if her soul had retreated inside of her body completely. It was kind of a cool thought, especially since Charlie fully believed it to be true. She figured that was what happened, her soul would jus completely coil into her body and evelope itself in the music that was blaring into her head. It got especially bad if it was a song with a symphony in the background; she would stop a conversation just so that she could analyse the song and pick out the instruments used. Sure, it was kind of geeky, but that was just who she was - a complete and total music nerd. Putting the Cd down, she looked up and puleld herself out of the trance;she had to get back on track, "I wonder where that album is..." she murmured to herself and got up on her tip toes to look over the rows and rows of racks of CDs and records. Each one of them was labeled for each genre so she's think it would be easy for her to find the labum she wanted. Unfortunately for her, it was becoming harder than she excpected, "Come on, it's gotta be around here somewhere..." she muttered again to herself as she walked around the rack she had just been looking at and headed towards the 'alt rock' label. On her way, another album caught her eye and she went wide eyed because of it, "No way!" sh exclaimed quietly before she walked towards the rack and picked up the 'Black Dahlia Murder' album, "I've been looking everywhere for this!" she added in the same tone that she had used before. A wide, goofy grin appeared on her face as she looked around and held it close to her chest; she was more than set on buying that album. Pulling the album back, she looked right at it with such a wide smile, there was no hiding that she was excited about this find. ain't it wonderful to feel?
